It is a photo session with the wolves and Monty Sloan! You could do it to - just look up the dates at wolfpark.org!
We've been a group of about 10 people, all in there with the wolves, cuddling and taken tons of pictures! It was an unbelievable experience. I loved it.

Actually you were blessed with the overcast sky. That made Ruedi's eyes blue, really blue, like this. When the sun is out, they don't appear blue.

Yes, if you look at some on Monty's photos, you will see the different eye color. For example, the photo on the front of the calendar this year is Ruedi but his eyes do not have the brilliant blue color.

Yeah, you are right... sometimes they seem really pale.

It just depended upon the day...some days I was fortunate to catch the blue, some days I didn't....
