While the posing is good, I disagree with the whole "medics should stop acting like an attack class" thing.
There will be times when the medic has to fight back. You can't really expect a medic to notice a spy right behind him, and not do anything about it.

...true, But my opinion is still the same. You can't really expect a medic to heal all of the time. There will be times when the medic will end up going battle medic and you're just going to have to deal with it.

Nicely done. Even though it is sad to see how Medics always get reduced to be nothing more than mobile dispensers that don't hand out ammo.
It's why I personally quite enjoy the new melee mode 
Anyway. Playing Medic in that new mode is lots of fun for me. As it playing them regularly as long as you still are allowed to defend yourself without getting yelled at in those many cases in which those ingrates of a team leave you unprotected or ignore your cries for help. Hrrmph.

I'm completely and totally guilty of attempting to distract Snipers with the crossbow. They're always like "WTF is hitting me," and then they to kill me instead of my teammates who are pushing forward/actually doing damage. It's hilarious.
I only really did that the first day/the day after the crossbow was released, but now I've returned to actually healing with some crossbow dickery here and there. Long story short: I hear ya, bro.
That and I also really like this picture and I think Medic's expression is hysterical. So, this is a success.

for the record, i don't believe that the medigun will save even a heavy from a huntsman headshot. now go avenge your fallen teammates death before he respawns!

The medic IS an attack class or a healing class based how people WANT to play his class. I assume you play medic to heal teammates (if you play medic at all). I, on the other hand, play medic to heal AND kill.
OH and in the new Dergrootkeep map, you can't use the Medigun or any type of guns with the exception of a few medieval themed weapons. (but that's kind of irrelevant to my point)
I'm sure you're heard this at least once before so I'll stop now.

ACTUALLY......wait.....I suppose you do have a point there. BUT There are people out there who do not heal and do, in fact, kill the opposite team. I've lost track of how many Battle Medics that actually kill people and get in the top five spots on the score board.

Didn't have the chance to test the crossbow yet, but I guess it's not that bad if it heals teammates. The Amputator seems amazing tho, 75hp given to guys around your taunt is just SOOOOO useful for the team.

I haven't tried the crossbow, but Medics are using it as their primary heal item outside of Medieval mode, and that's WRONG.
Amputator need to have no random crits. It's only fair that you be nigh-helpless if caught alone with it.

Yeah battle medic can be fun, but people running to the ennemy lines and getting blown up within the following minute are kinda useless. I find it grateful to heal someone, earn some assists with him and save him. I feel like I achieved something.

Same here. I tend to wait in spawn, charge an uber then grab the nearest Heavy and steamroll the other team.

We are an attack class...if you don't use the crossbow......blutsauger, medigun, and the ubersaw or new poly saw that is a battle medic set up. Some of us medic vets hate following around fatass here and him not paying attention when we need help. So we go battle medic, and if you do it right you can kill a charging pyro or even 2 soliders and a heavy in a row if your really lucky like I did last night.
Otherwise nice picture, but we are an attack class never forget that.

Or you could just end up getting raped by a rocket or a scout that doesn't suck. Plus, if the medic can't support his team, who's going to fulfill this job?
This is sadly why I stopped playing TF2, with all their retarded updates, they pretty much ruined the gameplay. I paid for a cartoonish and enhanced TFC, not some kind of irrational fuckfest. :/

Well thats why you have to have good timing when your coming out onto the battle field you have about 1-2 seconds before someone sees you. Meaning you have to pick what to do that fast, fight or flight. It can save your life. I mean even as a seasoned battle medic even I lose to those damn poly count scouts once and a while. And I don't mean im running off without healing people. A good battle medic knows when to heal and when to fight otherwise we are just sitting ducks out there and its not fair to us. I heal when I need to and fight when I have to.
I agree TF2 is getting a little out of hand but I don't think I'll ever turn my back on it...it's to important for me. Since you stopped playing you don't by any chance have any spare weapons or such on your name still do you?
