NOTE there are Red Vs Blue spoilers below! Mainly for season 12, so you've been warned!

Mkay, so here's why I do what i do:

Simmons:
So a lot of how I draw Simmons was inspired by the lovely freelance-kitty --mainly his hair and clothing style, as well as the idea to give him a single robotic eye from the whole surgery with Sarge thing. Though as far as his eyes are concerned, I made them Maroon to match his armor (anime-desu style //slapped). Though if i were to give him real eyes, probably green or brown. The scar over his robo-eye is from my thoughts that Sarge probably isn't that good with a scaple even if it is the future :'D
Pocket protector + pens 'cause Simmons is a nerd.

Grif:
Again, strongly inspired by freelance-kitty 's way of making him, though i made his hair a bit floofier and longer than she normally does. And i wanted his skin to be a bit darker, though it turned out a lot lighter than I had seen in my head. Oh well. I also tried to make him a bit wider as well LOL. Since he's the "fat guy"--but considering he IS in a war afterall, and still does some trainning things and is able to run away as decently as the rest of them, I don't think he could get too out of shape even if he takes naps all the time v u v. Again just like simmons, his eyes matches his armor, minus the maroon eye he got from simmons. Also matching scar --ain't that romantic? //shot

I see felix as the guy who's trying to look like the cool guy--so dyed hair and piercings. (to match his armor . he had to pick those colors for a reason right?). Also gave him some scars since he IS a freelancer after all--though i kinda wish i didn't make him so dark. Darker yeah, but i need more markers to get better shades of skin tones. //le sigh.

Also strongly inspired by freelance-kitty 's design because i knew jenson had to have a specific look and the second i saw hers i KNEW IT WAS THE RIGHT ONE. o n o Sorry i just... itsrequiredokay?
