Description
Growing up Emma Frost was one of my favourite comic books characters! I read the New X-men Comics by Grant Morrison and fell in love with her bitchiness, what was supposed to make me dislike the character actually made me like her more. After New X-men I read the Emma Frost solo series and loved it so much! I loved getting more of Emma's back story, and finding out who she really is and why the way she is the way that she is (say that 10 times fast lmao) and I loved Greg Horn's artwork of Emma on the covers and in between chapters, he would always draw Emma in her New X-men costume which was my favourite! Anything Emma Frost that I saw in my comic shop I'd beg my parents to buy me, even her super ugly Marvel Legends action figure by Hasbro. SOOO of course being the little "artist" I was when I was like 11 I drew Emma in her New X-men costume, and coloured it with pencil crayons, did shading and everything I was SO proud of it, I would show it off to everybody! Well this year I found it in an old pile of paper, and WOW the stuff I used to be proud of ahahahahaha! I had to redraw it, but it took a lot of convincing myself because I didn't want to let my past self down and mess up, but I finally got around to it and this is the outcome! I am super proud of this, I might upload a collage showcasing this drawing and the old one! But I hope some Emma fans enjoy this drawing as much as I enjoyed creating it!
