For those who don't know, I toned Paintings of You, its a 200pg manga published by Iris. Story and Characters are all copyright Mia *RocketShoes and Chrissy ~ChrissyDelk ... mmmmmm as always delicious inks. Very smooth and carries the eye nicely. Great shading technique as well! You have such a skill for traditional media, it looks very natural and in lack of better words 'comforting' almost. Like, really good feeling to look at. Im also a sucker for the muted splash of colour against a pre-dominate grey-scaled look. It adds a nice 'surprise' to the viewer in a way. Zesty!

heeeeh... you wouldn't say that if you could see it up close. My traditional media skill was crying itself to sleep the night I colored this. For real, I can't figure out what ink doesnt bleed when you color over it with copics. -___-; I started doing it on purpose after a while because I couldn't make it look clean.

So? Sometimes that slight untidy look gives a lot of character to the persons art I find. Its undescribably appealing at times. Then again, its all what your trying to achieve for yourself ya? Mmm Copics seem to have a really strong alchohol content tho, which is probably why the ink will bleed against it. But also depends on what type of ink your using too and what type of pen (nib, manual, etc) Gaacckk! So many variables.

yup. It's mostly copic markers. They frustrate me SO MUCH. O_O Why do I bother with them when I could just paint? -____-

Well dangit and I was hoping I'd get the chance to meet you. VV; I like being able to finally meet the people I've watched on devart and get a chance to talk to them about their art styles and the like, it's quite insightful! I usually try to attend Otakon on a yearly basis but on occassion I head to Sakuracon. I probably like Otakon best just cause I have so many people I meet up with there every year, it's like one big family reunion...of cosplayers! XD
