Description I was today again in Porkkala, now with the allmighty *Solkku and another great photographer *Bavenmark . We had great time and got plenty of good shots. When we arrived the cloud cover looked pretty good but as the sun moved down, the clouds disappeared almost completely. Nevertheless here's something to share, tell me your opinion!

Great shot mate...really nice colour from fore to background.
I've got my D80 and Sigma 10-20 but haven't actually used it yet
I've got to upload 700 photos from Brazil onto my laptop, decide which 5 or 6 to submit, and then I'll start working with the Nikon.
This is a lovely shot mate...I'll include it in my next journal

Cheers mate....I've had a play with it and it feels great. I'm slowly working out how everything works, but so far I'm really happy with it....and the 10-20 Sigma is just awesome. It feels as though it can see around corners

I love the atmosphere - a bit melancholic and silent anyway. The shutter speed is certainly cool here and the soft colour in the sky so peacefull.

Wonderful. I love how the water turned out with 5/1 exposure. Soft and mellow. I've experienced the cloud dissaperance too and well, thats how it is sometimes. Clouds or no clouds, this turned out pretty well.

How do you like the Sigma? I'm looking at 2 different wide angle lenses (tokina, sigma) and having trouble deciding which one.

Thanks for the great comment.

I had those two lenses also in my mind. I have heard that the Tokina would be sharper, but im not so patient person so I picked the one they had in store at the moment I have not tried the tokina, but I can say if you get the 10-20mm you won't look back I highly recommend to get some graduals to it, those are very useful in landscape photography.
