Description

EDIT: Now with the proper resolution, sorry for the tiny picture initially.

Alright, time for a big update to the next character I'm (still) working on. Here's a look at where Atheress normal form is headed!

I've given her a push towards a much more natural color of wolf fur, mostly grey but a tinge of red/tan in there. Her hair is just a darker shade of her base fur color, a bit of a departure from the bold, eccentric choices I've used for Malea and Nimah. I figure it might be some sort of cultural thing: many inhabitants of the world choose or are born with hair that is colored, but her species hair stays more natural.

Her outfit has changed a lot as well. The core idea I'm working with is trying to blend a 'princess knight' with 'molten warrior'. I've given her a lot more heavy armor, some kind of dark metal or obsidian, that can flare up in the cracks and seams to show how heated it is. Some flowing red cloth and gold trim/accessories mixed in gives the outfit a royal look. I've given her a large sword as well, built of the same material her body armor is.

Her elemental powers and abilities have not changed however: anger or physical exertion cause her to superheat, gaining size/muscle mass and fire elemental powers. Her armor and weapon act as a heat sink for her body however, and most of it is worn directly on her flesh/fur without any padding in order to disperse heat and prevent her from transforming.  She has to wear her armor almost all the time; she knows that in her fully transformed/enraged state, she loses almost all self control and becomes near-feral.

I'm currently working on her transformation and hope to show it off in the near future. Thanks for reading!
