History:
Growing up with strict parents was hard on Shizuka, controlling everything she did closely from a very young age. She was never allowed to befriend anyone whose parents they were not acquainted with, and those they were acquainted with had children Shizuka did not get along with. Introverted and distant, the only person she was ever close to was her older brother Mitsuo. However, Mitsuo was more rebellious than Shizuka, and was eventually kicked from their home by their parents. This led to Shizuka being more cautious around her parents, not wanting to end up like her older brother, while also making her repress her true desires even more. For now, she would rather bite her lip and do as her parents tell her until she was old enough to move out and become independent, like her older brother.

Her other self, Discordia, represents her dissatisfaction with having a boring, mundane life, hoping to one day become true to her feelings and break from the suffocating mold her parents made for her. However, if left unchecked, her inexperience with the world could cause much strife in her life.
