new work new technic new planets
yes i have made a new blue planet with clouds. i wanted to make a really realistic one! over 4 days i've been sitting on the planettexture ... most time the shapes of the clouds did'nt look really realistic.... i have put a really bad quality picture of some clouds under a new layer and started brushing .. i did'nt know how long i brushed but it was really really long
mhh and the left upper planet got the same clouds .. (only scaled them horizental up to 800%

layers: 143 (planet:45; whole pic=98)
file size: 168,2MB (planet: 114MB; picture:54,2MB)
planet-texture-resolution: 2000x2000px

man this piece is up there with the big guns of spacescapes. with a little more work on the backgrounds this could have very well been my favorite space piece to date very worthy of a plus fav to maybe help you to 50

This is really good. The only comments i could say, are that 1. i don't think there is enough atmosphere on the upper planet (but i think that is just my personal preferance) and 2. the ring doesn't look too good. Still you more than make up for that with the rest. Great planet, i really like the starscape as well.

Very impressive. Land planet is extremely well done, as is the background. One tiny nitpick, the lighting on the planets isn't consistent, the shadow is going in different directions on each.

Nice job man. The blue planet looks awesome but the clouds look a bit rigid. They don't look as whispery or as smooth as clouds tend to look, nice job on the land though. The ringed planet looks nice as well, nice rings. I like how this piece is very normal and calm and what might look like in space other than the flahsiness and all the nebulae in every other piece.
