Description
My world seems calm,
My stars shine bright.
I feel the safety,
Of their guiding light.

But the calm is a lie.
The guidance untrue.
My sky turns black,
From it's dark navy blue.

My brown eyes turn grey,
losing their life.
The pain of betrayal,
Like the stab of a knife.

No one around,
No one but me.
The one to blame is myself,
But how can that be?

My stars slowly fade,
They fall to the earth.
The sky becomes darker,
From no new star birth.

The once smiling moon,
Fell with a clatter.
The black fog returns,
But I guess it won't matter.

The fog clouds my mind,
Leaving me in the dark.
It consumes me with warmth,
But on the outside it leaves it's familiar mark.

A sharp tongue,
Lifeless eyes.
I fake my smile,
While my mind knows the lies.

I'm lost in myself,
No where to go.
I just want some help,
But not for others to know.

I re-open my eyes,
And try to see through the haze.
Although I'll tire quickly,
I'll still fight through this phase.

I know this is not me,
And I'll fight for who I really am.
I always fall and bleed,
But I never give a damn.

There are others who are here,
So I mustn't complain.
I keep on smiling,
Though it's sometimes in vain.

There's an end to this fog,
I know it in my heart.
I want to try to run,
But I don't know where to start.

I will make it out,
No matter the cost.
And then I'll help the others,
Because we are the lost.
