No one has it worse than the Persona 3 Protagonist.

Because the P3 Protagonist is an orphan. His family died in a car accident ten years ago. You only get to hang out (S.Link-wise) with the female members of S.E.E.S (and I freaking kid you not, it feels like the only characters that genuinely care about you are OUTSIDE of S.E.E.S. And then S.E.E.S. has the BALLS to pretend like they actually had anything to do with you in "The Answer". This is probably why I love Bebe over everyone in the main cast. Oh, and he has to leave for France. It's different in Persona3Portable. ONE of the few upsides to playing the girl. In Persona4, EVERYBODY loves you, including members in the Investigation Team.)

In S.E.E.S., you're the shortest guy aside from Ken, and everyone refers to you as "You", "Him", or "Our Special Member". Usually, you don't know that they're talking to you until the text box pops up. Occasionally, in the silent scenes, they call you by name. Also, you're not the oldest member. Hence the lack of respect.
In the Investigation Team, you're the tallest guy aside from Kanji, and everyone refers to you as "Senpai", "Sensei", "Leader", or "Partner". Usually, you realize when they're talking to you. Occasionally, they will call you by name. (If they're talking, they cut off before they say your name.) Also, you seem to be one of the oldest members. Hence the ultra-respect.

And then that third thing...

Oh, plus he has a creepy little ten year old that comes to speak to him in the middle of the night, encourages shooting oneself in the head with foreign guns, and the only one who can see him is the Protagonist! ...oh, and he's the Death Arcana. c:

So if you think you have it worse than the P3 Protagonist does, NO.
