Problem with a lot of multiplayer games, is that it's full of points obsessed kids. That said, a good friend of mine has recently gotten into SWTOR, and is absolutely obsessed with running every hard mode mission there is, in double quick time. Which is fine, but I prefer to enjoy the storyline that comes with these things, it's why I joined an RPG, to RP, for the story. However, he can't seem to get his head around the concept that some people just don't give a hoot about points and stats. Each to their own, but trash talking is just immature. It's why I mute people when I played on xbox live lol.
Oh I never thought I was old like ollllld lol, but I am too old to be giving a flying hoot about what some kid thinks of my strategy. If it works, it works, if it doesn't, think up a new one, no problems there ^_^
Working loads has it's downside, but I look at it like this, I have to work to get to where I want to be, so I'm just going to keep trying until somebody out there pays attention even if that means running up and down their office foyer with a neon sign that says "GIVE ME A JOB, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!" That's not a bad idea....
Hey, why would talking a lot mean I didn't deserve to do anything. I'm actually one of those people who waits ages to say something, but when I do it's usually not what people expected

Yeah I'm kind of annoyed at the lack of same sex romances too :/ Bioware don't usually scrimp on those things, as per Dragon Age. I believe this was decided because of the whole ridiculous "SW is a 'family' thing" argument. But all I have to say to that is, there are such things as same sex couple families, so it's a piss poor excuse. I actually find the way they skirt around the issue offensive and archaic. My fem Sith Inquisitor is as Bi as I am and proud dammit! While she did romance Andronikos Revel in game, I didn't actually think the female companion suited her personality at all. Her master, Zash, came close, but if you play that SL, you'll know how that ends LOL.
The rewards were paltry, I agree, I have had a few small loyalty rewards since, new pets, items, titles etc. They have also introduced special week long events to take part in. The most recent was a scavenger hunt that was quite fun. I got a cool custom bowcaster and a set of sand people clothing out of it. I also play as an Imperial Agent with an extensive background, I RP my way around game. Makes it a bit more fun I think. As for when it goes free to play, I heard in the autumn, or fall if you're from the states. So not long now if they stick to their promise.
No new races, though Cathar were mentioned in a past update. I was hoping for Kaleesh myself Love those guys. They wouldn't be beyond animating either, since as Inquisitor you get Xalek as a companion, it's possible!
I'm not sure what strategy you'd call pouring boiling water over a zergling nest but none now live to tell the tale. Grrr!

It's not so much treating a different sexuality like filth, it's ignoring it completely. I have tried to romance female characters in the belief it would be like other games, but nooope. It's not like same sex couples haven't been used in SW either. In the books, Karen Traviss added a gay mandalorian couple, but they have since been ignored when she stopped writing for the series. I and many other SW fans welcomed that brave approach to something that no one, to my knowledge, has attempted to add to the universe under some stupid pretext that a gay couple does not equal a family - which is utter toss, there's no other way to put it. And as for the subject of interspecies lurving going on in the SWU, it's happened before, though I imagine that the Kaleesh etc, as a general rule, don't find all other biped species attractive, they'd have been brought up with their own idea of beauty depending where in the galaxy they have grown up. At the end of the day, though, anything is possible, they shouldn't rule it out
General Grievous rules...and it was my painting of him that actually made me open this account in the first place, way back yearrrrs ago *ancient sounding voice* - okay so it was back in 05?

In all honesty, I can understand a company wanting to remain out of any type of controvercy, however, I fail to see why characters being gay makes a subject less family friendly. Growing up, I had a friend who's dad was openly gay, lived with his, now, husband, and they brought up my friend together. They were a family just like any other, the only difference being from a mother-father family, that he had two dads. Whoop de doo, why is it such a big deal? If anything, as a result of this, he's a thousand times more open minded than most guys I know. It enrages me when people automatically assume that because someone's parents are gay, they are going to be too. LOL My parents are hetro, but I'm not. Why does it all come down to sex in the end? There was nothing sexual in my upbringing, nor is there in a same sex parental family. But morons are everywhere it seems
But I could go on about the idiocy of some people's views all day lol. Bottom line, well done Karen Traviss for putting those characters in those books. The sky has not fallen in and the majority of people who read about those two mandos loved them. I salute you!
Haha the imperial reclaimation guy for the Sith Inquisitor is hilarious.
"Oh my goodness! We won!" - is one of his lines when attacking people and doing it successfully. Nice to know he has confidence in my abilities

i personally think some people just can't grow up. Humans are a violent, stupid, ignorant, pathetic... sorry foul day, not the most pro Human person but ill stop my ranting. My point is it took so many years just for some minorities in America to get equal respect. I mean idk like... euhhh.. from the time America was founded to the 1960's/ 1970's for them to get FULL support and fully treated equal. That long for something rediculously damn simple and in all that time we still haven't changed since now gays are getting the same treatment.. Well a lot a lot less violent but still same descrimination
huh? Lol eh my family's super streight, i have a few gay friends, most streight but it all works out lol so long as they don't hit on me hah but Karen Traviss? Who's that?
Lol wow haha well thats good i suppose haha XD

Thanks, I was trying for a bit of texture but I opted for smoothness in the end, Aiur Protoss were noted as being smoother than those on Shakuras ^_^ Maybe the difference in light altered them? lol. Ta for the fav too!
