Description No matter where we looked, whichever direction, whichever window - there was the storm...

...how long has it been there ?
...has it always been there ?

Wow; is all i can say to this.
You've really captured the full effect of the clouds on those windows.
Most of the time i find it difficult to critique/comment on photography like this, because there's no real control over colour or motion. For example, this shot would have far more impact with darker clouds, and maybe a lightning bolt, to give real emotion and impact.
This seems to have more a tranquil feel about it, like a 'gentle' storm, with lesser impact/feel.
However, there are some fantastic textures captured within the clouds on the right and the thin whisps through the middle, adding some great depth and detail to the shot.

Great work, keep on snapping!

thank you for the nice critique ! we really appreciate it...

with the darker clouds and addition of the lightning, it may pack it with a much better punch but we're quite wary of overprocessing our work, we get carried away far too easily ! :]

I like this artwork because it has real insight and depth of meaning. As *ArkaneApocolypse stated in his abouve Critique, yes, lightening and an even more dramatic color scheme would have added tension to the piece but I disagree with him in his assessment that this piece looks more 'tranquil'. I would describe the mood you've created as ominous or threatening, but not as fulfilling in this respect as I would have expected from my inition reaction this piece caused.

The symbolism I received from this piece is that our society is destructive and standing prominent amidst all of the havoc it is causing in the world. But we are soon about to find out that if we don't change our ways, then consequences will follow; as Clouds are usually a sign of trouble ahead. But there is still a way out, although it would be difficult. I assume this is portrayed through the parting of the storm-clouds showing the viewer a dark blue piece of sky.

This is what I got out of this artwork and I hope you appreciate my input!
