Large pastel portrait of a swan (or rather a composite of 4 swans, which is why the head and wings don't quite work with the rest of it) on light grey card a.k.a. the stuff you get inside art folders to keep them rigid. This card appears to be my favourite material for drawing large pastels on for reasons unknown; possibly cheapness and strength.

Done as a wedding pressie for some friends... but since they are abroad right now it's stuck in my house.

Also the reason for the very thin black square border around it is because the original drawing increased in size until the wing fell of the piece of card, necessitating some surgery which could not be wholly concealed. The border was the best I could do. Also the original border line at the top isn't wonky... but alas it seems my photo is >_<.
