Buhhhh, I painted this while sitting/laying in a fetal position because of some bad food/drink or maybe I'm just getting sick. But it's Atlas, he belongs to *tir-ri and he is beautiful. I don't know if fish bring the most pleasant dreams but I know he's fishing for a really big one. ^_~<333333333333

Oh gosh! To be honest I just painted it in one night. I started the sketch and then worked on it for a few hours. I think I just laid out the skin as a soft peach over that golden under color and then I just started popping that sweet red until they looked cold and bitten. *nosebleed*

I greatly enjoy this! That third eye is beautifully done and the whole fish-dream concept reminds me of my flying fish dream, which was just plain awesome.

This piece is stunning! The color scheme is such a great balance of warm and cool colors, and I always love the amount of detail you put into your paintings- in particular his fingernails, eyebrows, and those delicate eyelashes! I also love the shape of his lips 
I have a random question~ do you ever use masking fluid?

Eeee! Oh no masking fluid! I very rarely use it I must admit! I probably should. I've tried it a few times and I haven't mastered applying it with enough detail as I'd like. *tir-ri is really the master of it, I have so much to learn from her.
