Quick doodle to celebrate Digimon's insertion into Appmon via the Cardass and regular TCG.In Cardass Agumon, Gabumon, WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon and Omnimon are part of the arcade game, while so far just Agumon and (tri.) WarGreymon are part of the regular TCG.Β
This could go a couple of ways though. As Omnimon is compatible with the AppGattai system, they might only use fusion based Digimon (be a great way to reintroduce Shoutmon DX or Paildramon) or they only use Adventure characters as part of a Xros promotion with Digimon Adventure tri. WarGreymon's tri. design seems to imply the later to me, but that's just speculation.
I do wonder if this could bleed over into the anime, though recent updates on the Appmon anime's story so far don't suggest this.Β

So Digimon showed up in Applimonsters, but more of like an Easter egg being like it is to us (fictional universe spanning various mediums) in the Applimonsters' universe?

They've appeared in the anime and manga as Easter Eggs, but their appearance in the card games is their first true leap into Appmon: images.withthewill.net/appmoncβ¦
That's a fan Appmon of mine named Burromon. He's a Game Type Appmon like Dokamon.

Now that you mention it, I can easily see Veemon/ExVeemon and Wormmon/Stingmon pulling and AppGattai Paildramon, though how they'll go Imperialdramon here is beyond me, sadly.

The newest series meets the oldest series, or would it be the other way around, lol? If they do start showing tri. digimon in the Appli Monsters Anime, then that'd be one heck of a crossover (considering how different Appmon and Digimon are). ^w^
