Airdramon recieved an upgrade that resulted in him becoming more anthropromorphic. The propellors on his wings allow him to create more powerful bursts of wind and allow him to fly for days without tiring or barely any effort for that matter.

A Zone Type Digimon is similar to a Digimon with the X-Antibody in that a foreign energy mutates its form into either an improved version or a deteriorated version.
Custom Form Digimon are Digimon whose Digivolutionary paths have been "Customized" by their Human Partner. Typically, this results in a Digimon born from the Partner's interests or tastes.
For instance, Veemon becoming Ramemon (Davis's dream of running a noodle cart). And Betamon becoming Convoymon (Dan's interest in Transformers).

Digivice Custom: The Digivice of the Zoners in Digimon Zone, Digimon Zone X and Digimon Zone 02.
It's gimmick is Customizing. The Digivice itself can change form by scanning another Digivice and mimic its abilities. These different abilities are stored and the Zoner in question can then Customize the Digivice how ever they see fit.

The DigiBeetles originally appeared in Digimon World 2, as tank-like vehicles to travel around the Digital World in the game. The could be customized with different armor, parts and such and acted essentially as a support unit in battle.
The DigiBeetles in Digimon Zone and its sequels essentially work the same way. However, they have the addition of being able to Transform into a "Digimon Mode" that can help better assist in battle and have a variety of other distinct vehicle body types (there are some random Generic DigiBeetles that Transform into futuristic tractor trailer trucks for example). They also possess personalities and sentience, something the versions in the video game (as far as I know) lacked. They can also Digivolve while in Digimon Mode, typically into Trailmon, but they are also compatable with Custom Digivolution.
So far, there are 5 specific DigiBeetles that have appeared in Zone:
Gunner- Hoverboard (Dan's)
Ransurot- Hovercar (Saku's)
SkyStar- Jet (Red's)
Prime- Motorcycle (Kai's)
Biplane- Airplane (Dawn's)

In that case, the Digimon are Customized into special Spirits within the Digivice. Then the Zoner is able to perform Spirit Evolution like Takuya or Zoe can do.

Well, in the Digimon Zone version of Frontier, Dan and the others don't find their own personal Spirits like Takuya and the others do. In order to compensate, they turn their own Digimon into Spirits to Spirit Evolve with.

OK so let me get this right Zone tamers have a special digivice called a D-Custom to activate Zone Type Digimon & Custom Form Digimon and they can use there DigiBeetles to also Digivole into Custom Form as well

Yup! ^^ And no, Digimon X-Evolution has not been dubbed and released. It's only available in RAW form and fansubs currently.
