Poor cubones, all so sad because every single one of them had their mothers killed. Which is both tragic and weird when you think about it, it's just kinda impractical for that to happen to every. single. cubone. Also, what about every cubone's dads? They're presumably fine since they aren't mentioned either way, so cubones aren't necessarily totally alone.
Overthinking pokemon lore aside though, it's an excellent picture and I really like the color choices.
