Oh, wow!!!!! The lines look so nice, and they change the entire "mood" of the art (that sounds stupid, but I can't think of another way to say it). This looks more comic book-ish, which I think is good for this project. Your regular style looks more comic strip-ish, which is perfect for things like Quill (and his adventures that I'm sure we'll see later).
Also, I love this character, she's so lovely and feminine looking ^_^
