This is gorgerous!!
Very VERY nice detail and shading; the background is soo well done and the perspective is amazing.
The head of the dragon is beautiful. It seems to be a dangerous dragon, but when you look closer at it, you know it's only a sweet mother taking her egg.
The arms are great too, and the pose of the dragon is very well done.
Really amazing pic for pencil. I'm faving it.
(Uh.. Sorry for my english x.X)

To be honest, purely technically this has gotta be one of the best dragon drawings I've seen in a long time- you've got a great eye for both detail, composition and perspective. Also great shading and... well pretty much everything... I honestly can't find anything to whine about.
(Reply for "are you an unknown artist?" thread-sorry about the late reply)

I'm impressed with the detail and the shading skill here. Other than the houses, it appears to be set inside a Roman colleseum, with the curved wall and arched window. Makes me wonder if the setting would make more sense without the houses, or just one to function as an enterance. Yet on the other hand, they add a good level of detail. It's a gorgeous drawing either way.

Whao. 'Tis beautiful! 8) I love the range of the values and the intricate background. The dragon is amazing! o0o A month IS a long time... but I would say it's worth it.
One additonal point... Fingers on a wing have many joints, so perhaps the dragons' should be more bent/segmented, like in a bat's wing.

What type of pencil did you use?! Did you use a blending stub? and more importantly... did you use a reference?! because this is just.... wow... amazing!
