You do your own colour prints??? *gapes* I prefer Royal Gold for film though. Great picture. Out of curiosity, what lens do you have that closes to 32?

royal gold? what brand is that? i only do my own color prints for this semester... i'm in a color positive class, using slide film. i might take advanced color next year, though, and then i'll get to work with negative also. my lens is a quantaray 28-80 AF zoom lens.

Kodak Royal Gold. Not slide film though... What are you majoring in? I'd suggest taking that advanced colour class. I would think it would be fun

i'm a photo major i'm actually starting to enjoy color... after a year of b/w, i was getting set in my ways, and it took me all semester to warm up to it. if i do take advanced, i'll definately try out that film!

Very cool. Did you know that ritz camera/wolf camera sells rolls of film for one dollar? It's expired, but if you toss it in the freezer it keeps for as long as you like and if you use it soon there's no problem with ageing. the expiration dates are screwy

yeah, it's pretty sweet, specially if you're a starving college student.

Do you know if any colleges allow students to do photo majors mainly with digital? I want to major in photo, but I really don't want to spend the thousands of dollars on film and chemicals etc. I already know darkroom techniques and such (cept colour of course) and I'd really just like to work on learning photoshop and composition and stuff like that.

Also, as a college student you may be able to give me advice on my photos! I wouldn't mind at all!

you wouldn't be able to do it as a major, but i'm sure if you talked to whoever teaches the computer photo classes, you could get a permit to get into the classes.

i'll check out your gallery now!

Ahh well.. maybe in a few years when I'm in college there will be some way to waste less film Or maybe I'll be able to afford film by then
