In my mind, Cal's gay. Makes a point of talking about girls with the rest of the squad but has no girlfriend, hero-worships Tyr and is sorta jealous of Tyr's relationship with Rabbit, puts on this big compensating act around other Skins but only connects emotionally with other guys (like Quartz.) Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my behalf but I''m thinking Cal's probably a bit of a closet-case.
Thanks for clearing that up. I kept reading these looooong comments about "Vanessa" and Cal on LJ's page (all by this one reader) & was getting confused about whether or not she was in the comic and Cal's girlfriend.Β
You also did that Rabbit/ Tyr birthday pic for LJ. So guessing you're her husband (she mentioned you in the description) - so cool you did some Smoke, Fur And Stone stuff for her. Any chance she may guest-star your Milly and Jade in Smoke, Fur And Stone some time?

Oh, Vanessa DOES do that on occasion, but she's fallen for Caliban. Which is odd, because she's only fallen in lvoe with REDHEADS in the last 20,000 years.
It must be REAL, since he's brunette. Also, it's his name. He's named after the son of a Witch, that adds intrigue.
Trust me, there's been PLENTY of men who've been seduced to death by this Siren of the Seas.
