Personality:
To say Deo is a brat is putting it lightly. He's an incredibly selfish and violent child, lashing out harshly if he feels he's been wronged in any way. Unfortunately, Deo is the type of person to be crossed easily, so he is often avoided by everyone around him. He doesn't seem to mind all that much, a solitary person by nature and currently at the age where he is drowning in teenage angst. He can be a bit dense, rather uneducated in many [well, most] ways. Even common knowledge can seem foreign to him. Deo is incredibly standoffish even when not being violent or when around people he likes. It is his own way of protection, guarding himself against judging eyes. If he opens up, he's actually a real riot to be around if you don't mind his loud and rowdy nature. He has great comedic timing, even if not always intentional, and a fondness for weird and creepy creatures.
Miss Monarchy, while holding onto her bratty and violent nature, is shown to be more loyal than her civilian counterpart. She is more mischievous than downright aggressive, although she is by no means passive. Despite her interactions with prominent villains and her ability to hold her own, many seem to not view her as a major threat to them. This is relatively true, she doesn't often pick fights with heroes and tends to do more petty crime such as robbery. However, she loves to parrot heroes' secrets, information and plans to villains with more firepower than herself, using her flight to sneak into unlikely places to listen in.
She adores villains and idolizes many of them, especially Papillion. She often can be seen lingering around him and stealing any of the bizarre merchandise that has popped up for him. Despite her idolization of many villains, she appears to show no mercy or hesitation in selling out her fellow villains for the right price. She, despite not being the brightest in the bulb, always seems to have enough wits to keep her role as a sell-out under wraps.
Bio:
Deo came from a broken household, which he refuses to speak about with anyone, save one person. His parents are deceased, he has three sisters, was raised by his grandmother and his home life is shown to be beyond rough on him, but anything beyond that is left to the imagination, and he wants to keep it that way.
He originally held a different Miraculous, the Poodle Moth, which he stole from a girl he bumped into, which led to him piercing his own ears. Cottonball quickly grew to be hated by Deo, as he resented the type of person he was seen as. It even lead to contemplation of abandoning the villain games. Luckily, for Deo at least, he stole his new Miraculous from an antique store, quickly abandoning his former identity for a new one, wiping the slate clean. He'd prefer to keep the fact that his alter-egos are the same person, so even this is hidden from most.
Kwami: Flutter [Monarch Butterfly]
Kwami's food: Milkweed
Kwami's Personality:
Flutter is a timid and docile Kwami, very shy and anxious by nature. She constantly frets over Deo, trying her hardest to convince him to reconsider his choices of being a villain. After seeing her feedback didn't stand a chance to changing his mind, she reluctantly moved on to trying to support him in any way she can, understanding how he must feel towards the world. She is scared of other Kwamis and prone to crying if she sees them, with a similar feeling towards other holders.
Other:
Deo can knit, and loves to do it. He will only knit for people he's incredibly close to, though.
His friend list is extremely short: Leonardo Viteri, Erik Fillery, Hikaru Aishi and Yuuto Sato.
He has a boyfriend, Hiroaki Aishi, who is the only person he completely trusts.
Deo has an alter-ego, Usagi Handa. She is a way for Deo to live out living as a girl and a vent for much of his pent-up emotions. She is notably more relaxed and bit less hostile than Deo and Monarchy. She wears lolita-inspired fashions and cute wigs, both provided by the Aishi household.
Deo is fluent in Spanish, as it's his native language, and is passable in English and Japanese. The latter two can be a bit spotty and broken, however, as he was self-taught. He tends to rely on his boyfriend to translate or use Miraculous magic.
