Fairies can't be killed through injury or whatever, BUT THEY ARE STILL AFFECTED BY TIME!
They don't age as fast as humans, but they still age.Β So, they can still get old and die that way.

I honestly just don't like when people use "immortal" to describe Touhou fairies.Β If a specific fairy was actually immortal, it'd be fine, but using it for the whole species is what annoysΒ me.

The way I see it,Β Element fairiesΒ more in-tune with their element than other fairies, but their lives aren't directly connected to that element.Β They'll be weakened if that element isn't present, but they won't die from it.Β But not every fairy is an Element fairy (I'd like toΒ use Daiyousei as an example as she's a "great fairy")
Lily is literally the only fairy I've seen in Touhou that can be connected to a specific season.Β (Btw, Earth only has two seasons at one time, and the season of theΒ southern hemisphere is always the second season after the one in the northern hemisphere, so it's always Spring/Fall or Summer/Winter)
