well here he is after one hell of a looong time,reason for the long delay is every feather had to be done seperately, can't begin to tell you how many itty-bitty dots are in this piece..thank god for coffee

haha I hear ya on the feathers- I did a macaw pointillism [link] that took what seemed like forever... its not quite as big as yours though (mine's about 8x14). Great job- very impressive

Wonderful tonal range. There is something to be said about using stipple. "Crazy" comes to mind, first and formost, but after that, "Wow," is a close second.
I admire your patience and tenacity to see the work finished. I did stipple for 12 years as my primary technique of choice, so I know the time and energy it takes to complete a piece this large.
I love the implied areas around the white feathers of the head and the way that the chest feathers layer.
Great job, Bobby. Sensitive and bold at the same time.
