Description
This is my current Project in Advertising Design. Use color to bring a theme together. My theme is Classic 1980s arcade games revisioned for our era of gaming. Sort of if these games were re-released in arcades, this would be the artwork on the side panels and so forth. I have 7 of these, one for each color, plus black.

Here is a work in progress of donkey Kong. Most of its come out pretty well. Since Donkey Kong (and Mario and Pauline when they're drawn) are more complex characters than q-bert, pacman and other 80s arcade characters, I stylized some of the original artwork from the machines to create DK's character. Im having difficulty finding a good image of Mario that fits the style though.
