Why doesn't this stuff work? Unloading the skins, they just have full white 3/4 circles and some have bars that show performance but no text? Why doesn't text show up like it does in the screenshot? Nothing in the configuration settings is explained or is helpful. I had this working before i resinstalled my OS and i don't remember what i had to do to fix this. This is very annoying

Hey so I doubt you'll answer this being how the last post was over a year ago, but im having trouble with the cpu temp skin.

My cpu3 is at crazy temps, like in the 100s, bringing the average up to 38-45 degrees.Β

But on SpeedFan (and also HWiNFO64) it says its at average 26-30 degrees.

Is this a known error that the 4th core is at crazy temps? If so is there a way that I can change the application (from speedfan to HWiNFO64)

Thank you!

Hey boby, I am getting wierd readings from the Temperature reader. Β CPU0 is showing -45 and Cpu2 is showing -128, both in Celcius of course. Β I am running Windows 7 with a core I7-2600and rainmeter 2.5.0. Β Any help would be appreciated.

check if you have theΒ AdvancedCPU.dll in your rainmeter plugins ?

bobyflo In reply to j3ffr3yy [2013-03-04 19:02:03 +0000 UTC]

Thank you
Afterburner won't help you here. You should instal Speedfan, and find the right GPU id (for me it was 0, so it is in the configuration file :
[MeasureTempGPU]
Measurelugin
Pluginlugins\SpeedFanPlugin.dll
SpeedFanType=TEMPERATURE
SpeedFanNumber=0
)
Try several value starting from 0 and see the resulting temperature to find which one matches to the one displaying in Speedfan.

I am getting most of this really nice UI to work, but my temperature is not working well. I get the correct degree in Celsius, but the increment of the bra is way of since 36C hits it to the top! Any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks for making this!

Change the RotationAngle= to 2.1 or something in both, [MeterCPUBG] and [MeterCPUCircleLight].

This will give you more than 36c for the top angle of the bar.

Okay so I got it moving now! BUT I had to set the bar to track a specific core, which is not what I was going for. It seems that setting the bar to track the formula it just won't work? (I have edited the formula to ignore the GPU.
[MeasureTempCPU]
Measure=CALC
Formula=

(MeasureTempCPU0+MeasureTempCPU1+MeasureTempCPU2+MeasureTempCPU3)/4

You need to install rainmeter, then download the circuitous_enhanced file from this post, extract it to the Skins folder in the Rainmeter folder (itself in your document folder). Then, restart rainmeter and load the skins you want.

how did you make the temperature work for the cores? thanks in advance

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

bobyflo In reply to anirudh15891 [2012-08-21 16:45:48 +0000 UTC]

You need a specific software for the temperature : Speedfan. Once installed, you will see many temperature, and some of them are for the core. In the temperature .ini file, there is a property called "SpeedFanNumber" in the [MeasureTempCPUX] bloc where X is your processor number. You need to test which number match the temperature of each of you CPU, but usually the count start to 0 and match the list you see in speedfan. Hope I helped

This is not mine, but you can find it searching for "corner calendar" in the rainmeter stuff. Enjoy

Can I somehow display the RAM usage with more precision? If you understand what I mean.
Example: "2.8 GB of 4 GB"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

bobyflo In reply to shobre [2011-11-29 16:54:05 +0000 UTC]

of course you can ! edit the skin (right clik on it, and click "Edit skin...")
In the block :
"[MeterSubText]
MeasureName=MeasurePhys
MeasureName2=MeasurePhysMemTotal
Meter=STRING
X=20r
Y=-5R
StringAlign=LEFT
StringStyle=BOLD
StringEffect=#StringEffect#
FontEffectColor=#CircleBG#
FontFace=#Font2#
FontSize=#Size2#
FontColor=#TextColorSub#
AntiAlias=1
Percentual=0
Text="%1 of %2"
Autoscale=1
NumOfDecimals=0"

Change the last line "NumOfDecimals=0" to "NumOfDecimals=1". You can set more than one decimal if you want. But this will affect the two measures, I mean you will have "2.8 GB of 4.0 GB". I think you should separate the block [MeterSubText] in two different block to do like your example, one with 1 decimal, the other with 0.

I think this was by default, i made some improvement, I should make an update !

Hope I helped you
