Description (SECOND TRY!!!....IF THERE IS ALLREAYD ONE OF THOSE UPLOADED....I WILL TAKE THIS ONE AWAY...)

lots of people here on this site asked me what I can do with my new camera....and well.... now, here is my first picture with my new D80....

I love this one....

the photo

the reason for why the boat is blurred?....while everything else around it is totally focused....?....
simple....this is a very rather long exposure...and its lots of waves out there on the river....even though you cant see them as the long shutter smoothered them out...

the title of this one is all about the waves rocking the boat really....and I know the name sucks....who cares?...;

awesome work to say the least. The blurry parts just add greater depth to the over all image. Very impressive work, the lighting is perfectly captured

Det ser coolt ut, som grön, flytande dimma ungefär. I en skräckis eller Xfiles vore det säkert ondskan själv.

yeah...hehe....did I tell you about when I made that "the harbor" picture?....there is a ferry that is coming in like 20 meters to the left from the place I took it....making some huge waves....and....I was a little lucky....the waves stopped like 2 centimeters in front of the camera when It lay there on the ground(forgot my tripod at hom that day....)...

Snyggt foto - får känslan av att det är is på vattnet och tyckte nästan att stolparna i bakgrunden såg ut som skridskoåkare
Grattis till nya kameran, jag är avundsjuk men än så länge är min systemkamera bättre än jag så den får duga ett tag till

That camera will take you far

Curious though that it looks like you used a Canon before. What made you pic Nikon over Canon?

umh....well...if canon had had a camera comparable to the d80....I might have picked that one....now....canon have one... the 30d...but it costs a lot more.......(dont say anything about the rebel xti/400d....its not in the same class anywhere...trust me....I have tried both the 400d and the sony alpha 100...none of them are in the same class as the d80....I (and many experts(professionals) consider the d80 a semipro camera while the rebel and the alpha is consumers cameras(no bad to them for that....they are both good....but they are not aiming at the same thing...)).

and I hope it will take me far...
