I got to see it in a theater last summer for an event! it was way cool on a big screen o:

Oh yeah. i was like the third row in from the big screen they had at the theater that was in the convention center and wowza subtitles are hard to read upclose XD

lol they really are honestly!! it's hard to read subtitles and enjoy the visuals at the same time :'D I've seen Akira over 10 times now though so I'm able to enjoy awesome visuals and still know what's going on

ive only seen it that once saddly. i found the DVD at BAM and i was so happy!
too bad it was like $30
