first post of 2022! I'm hoping to have a lot more to show this year, but we'll see how things go

this was only meant to be a simple headshot with some basic shading, but I got a bit carried away. I'm trying to play around with a few things and it took me a bit, but I think I found a decent groove in the end. I'll definitely be playing around more in this vein and hopefully settle on a style that really clicks for me for these kinds of illustrations!
