I never got around to posting any of the Demon Cass stuff I mentioned with the giant Moongene AU. Basically in this, instead of Gothel’s daughter, she was made as a future vessel/demon spawn for Zhan Tiri, tho still also human. Cap probably already knew this when he found her, but she was a small child in need all the same and that’s all he saw.
Problems begin to arise later within the House of Yesterday’s Tomorrow and possibly even as early as when in the Great Tree when a connection was made and Zhan Tiri’s spirit was able to latch on and influence her. Things go differently than the original where Eugene takes the opal instead and runs off and we’re left with Cassandra’s internal turmoil as time passes and builds into something dangerous. Cassandra unlocks her potential but doesn’t realize that doing so makes it all the easier for Zhan Tiri to eventually take over.
Still working out the details, but wanted to share the design concept at least. I wanted it slightly different from my own Zhan Tiri design since I still feel Cass is a bit her own thing, but def has a big influence on it.
