my favourite part of the book? Where Jade spots a male troll and promptly hurls a rock at his head. Right before anyone can overreact Maladicta tells them it's the troll version of blowing a kissβ¦and indeed, said beaned-on-the-head troll is smiling happily, if in a mildly concussed way.

They come from Monstrous Regiment, one of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett. It's sort of a series, but Monstrous Regiment stands on its own.

I'm loving the rocky-granite-y texture on Jade (I'm guessing she'd the ogre-y rock thing. And the nest thing on her head is adorable. And the woodgrain on the bench is actually quite nice as well . . . Heck, the textures are just fab all round ^_^ Good schtuff, love!
