What's up d00ds!? Here's another submission (I've been really pumping them out, haven't I?) for your viewing pleasure!The character is Ryu, from the Breath of Fire series. Although not as well known as other video game characters, many fans of old will be able to recognize this classic icon. It's a shame that it's not as popular, but fans will say otherwise. The newest reincarnation of the game strayed from the original in many ways, so maybe a new sequel can revive the series.
Anyway, I drew this character as a request for one of my best buds Ian, so if you're looking at this (you should be the first one to!), hope you like it! I referenced the official art and this is the end result.
The piece took me 3-4 hours (new record!) and I didn't face any hardships at all! Perhaps this means I've...LEVELED UP!?

Ha, yeah, that's crazy you just started to watch it!
It's one of the best anime I've seen, great story, great twists and turns and man, you just can't stop watching it! The second season is airing in Japan right now and I'm up to date with it, and you won't believe how they progress with it...Every episode (first season included) ends with a bang and the characters are awesome too. At first I wasn't really diggin the art style (it's done by CLAMP, the people who did Cardcaptors and the like) and their style is very pointy faces and really tall people with long legs, and the girls all seem to pretty busty lol, but anyway, you look past it and it's just an intense anime to watch.
Btw, are you watching the Japanese with subs or the dubbed English one? I suggest the Japanese version, just took a look at the American one yesterday and it's not half bad, but the original always reign supreme! I'm gonna be drawing Lelouch, and I've got this cool idea of drawing half of his regular face and the other half as his persona...which I don't want to reveal or spoil although it's not so much a spoiler at all but yeah...lol...Look for the picture soon!
Btw, how are you taking the site redesign! Looks cool but it's seems so complex now!! haha

hmm. i'm watching the english, it's not so bad. i like the redesign actually, there were a lot of people bitching about it, but i agree, it looks cool. i know clamp, i actually read a few of their mangas cuz i liked their style but their body proportions are waaay too exaggerated, but i like the hair, eyes and facial structures. anyways looking forward to your pic bro!

you have indeed LEVELED UP! haha! nice clean lines in this one, the coloring on the hair came out well too. though, sadly i don't know this character either. sorry!

Ha thanks man. I like the coloring the best on this piece, there wasn't much else I could do for it though, since his design is so simple! Anyway, I'm 95 percent sure I'm gonna try drawing a character from an anime called Code Geass...I don't think you've heard it but here's to hoping you actually have heard of it/seen it and know the main characters!
