That's so awesome! I like all the details in the background and the expression on Jinjur.
It's a real shame that so many of the excellent book characters found in the Oz sequels are overlooked and overshadowed by the 1939 film. Those books were like the Harry Potter of their day, and if they were written today, we would have seen a whole series of films like Potter.

They definitely are, and as much as I've always cherished and enjoyed the 1939 film, it's created a dead end to any future "official" film adaptations from being made. I credit the film Return to Oz for getting me into the books, as it was much more faithful to the style and tone of the books than the 1939 film was.

I made this piece for a 'Return to Oz' themed art show. They also included the sequels as a source of inspiration. It was a fun show to work on.
