Oh, the whole OtherOS thing. The CS club at school bought three. Now we have a choice, play games or use them for linux, but not both because they are retroactively removing the OtherOS feature. (I.E. The next time I update the game bios it will remove the linux install, despite the fact I bought an old model just for that purpose.) Hence, the nerfing.

Ah yeah, that's certainly sucky, but then... it's to stop pirating right? It's not entirely legal, but you could try getting the linux OS to run the games anyway, it'd be a good project for the club ahahaha! ;D

:/ It is annoying, I am looking into playing games with Wine. The whole preventing piracy sounds iffy. (Doing that did invite piracy.) On the good side, some one did find a way to hack the PS3 to get it back. (The same guy that hacked the iPhone!
