I believe that you're a real fan. I just finished Avatar Yesterday and I'm watching Korra as we speak. (Toph and Korra are the best!)

I haven't watched Legend of Korra yet since I'm mostly in a Last Airbender-mood (as evidently shown by my fanart-folder in my favorites on my account ), so I won't act like I know a lot about the sequel, because I really don't

Also, the whole Gaang is awesome (and by the whole Gaang, I mean Zuko as well)

Last Airbender is amazing, but Korra is good too. It's like Avatar with Steampunk. Korra herself is awesome too. Like Toph mixed with Katara.

I have heard good things about Korra, so I don't doubt that it's a good series. As I mentioned before, I'm really just in an Last Airbender-mood
I have seen a few clips, which have AMAZING animation, and I do know a bit how Korra is like, and she does seem like you mentioned, like Toph mined with Katara
I don't know a lot about the series, but I do know a teeny tiny bit about it.

I know how you feel. I can link you to a stream-site with Korra if you want. The animation is really pretty, I think it's better than Avatar's.
Unfortunately, there are no Characters like Sokka and his Enemy birds.

Thank you very much, but that won't be neccessary, as I already do know a bunch of sites that stream Korra
Although I have only seen few clips of Korra, you're definitely right that the animation is awesome. I can mention the fight with Iroh II (who's voiced by Dante Basco, which I thought was pretty cool), if you're wondering which clips I have seen
A shame that most of the beloved characters are dead or replaced by new ones (although it is justified, since it's focusing on new characters). How will we now get our wonderful sarcasm, when Sokka and Toph are gone?
(I probably know that there are some great comic relief characters, but again, haven't seen the show yet )

Well, Iroh is apparently Zuko's grandson, and everyone loved Dante Basco as Zuko, so hiring Dante Basco to do the Zuko-voice again is enough to make fans squee with happiness
I also know that Katara's alive and a widow, but I have a strong feeling that when she's gonna have flashbacks about Aang and her now-dead friends, I'm gonna get struck hard by feels
And Toph is a mystery, but she might still be kicking earth- and metalass as an old badass granny

Yeah, but he sounds EXACTLY the same, so it's a bit odd.
Fangirls. It threw me of a few times.
Yeah, there are a few flashbacks. With Aang and Katara, there's a photo of their family. As for Toph, theres a few flashbacks with her as a middle-aged chief of police who still calls Aang Twinkletoes. I don't know if she's still alive. That would be really cool though.

I have indeed seen the photo with Aang, Katara and their kids
It's kinda hard avoid that photo when you are at forums discussing Avatar.
And about Toph, well, I guess that some habits die hard

If you've read the comics you'd know Toph started a Metalbending School. Maybe she went back to that after Lin became chief of Police.
