How do I do it? I draw the pictures on photoshop using the mouse. Usually, I'll look at a picture to get the pose though, in case my anatomy is off. Drawing it in photoshop is a lot easier than, say MS Paint, because it gives you a grid which you can work with. I usually draw the picture with the smallest brush, then when i'm done drawing, I take the fill bucket and clock all of the black lines to make them a bit thicker and prettier for colouring.
