Does anyone else consider it weird that ai bros take it personally when you say anything negative about ai? It's as if they think they ARE ai and that you're insulting THEM.

But obviously they're not - they're bone and meat like us - and ai itself doesn't care about being insulted and has no feelings to hurt, so it's not like they need to stick up for it and champion its honour.

I've had all sorts of personal attacks from them such as telling me my own art is shit, that I've got hardly any followers, that I'm probably a very sad lonely old man etc etc, which, to them, probably seems like a proportionate response to the personal attack which they believe has made against them when I attack ai.

Why do they side it with it and defend it so vociferously? Why do they get so upset and offended and angry on its behalf?

I wonder if it's because they choose to identify themselves among that which they WANT to identify as and they wish they were ai; in the same way that some spineless class-traitors with no money defend billionaires because they're identifying themselves as that which they'd LIKE to be and forget what they actually ARE.

Maybe they wish they had artificial intelligence because even that would be an improvement on having intelligence which is real but low.

Cut the machine and its minions bleed.
