A neighbor of mine started growing a beard after his first child was born because he learned that some children are frightened by beards when they're young, and it's better for the father to have one so they can get used to it.
Now that both of his kids are in high school, he finally remember to take it off. XD

My husband grew out a week long beard helping out at Scout Camp and whenever he has one, he always does things like this to our kids. Then they squeal and run away, which makes him want to do that even more, but it itches him like crazy lol
