Hair is one of the most fun things to draw because you can do just about anything you want with it.

Although coming up with convincing hairstyles for each character is kind of tricky!

haha, uh thanks. I don't think I'll redraw this, but I could possibly draw a similar scene that shows both characters.

IKR? X3 Did you know that both Disney movies are inducted into the National Film Registry, along with Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Mary Poppins and Toy Story?Β Β

IKR? If done really, REALLY well, a family-friendly film can be considered not only great as a part of it's genre, but a movie all together, and Disney is not the only company to have such great examples, such as MGM with The Wizard of Oz and Singin' in the Rain, and Twentieth Century Fox with The Sound of Music, and those are just a few.Β Β

Same here! It's still so surreal to this day that it is so far the only 2D animated film nominated for Best Picture, and it still deserves it!Β Β

Now, there are some people who don't like it because they say Belle has Stockholm Syndrome, but if she did, she wouldn't have ran away after the Beast scares her out of the West Wing, her coming back only to help fix his wound, and she wouldn't have left after the Beast sets her free, coming back in order to save him from Gaston and his men. Am I right?

I've always disliked that argument. You're right, the situation is clearly different. I think those who say otherwise are just trying to over criticize a popular work. It's unavoidable, and unfortunately to be expected with this kind of story.
What's even worse is the claim that Beauty and the Beast supports abusive relationships. Hearing that theory hurt my heart.
I completely disagree, and wish that stories and movies like this would be taken into context with the whimsy that they are trying to portray. Instead of people searching for the 'hidden corruption' that they believe must be present in disney.

Ugh, I know! It drives me absolutely CRAZY when haters try SO hard to navigate for anything at all bad about something so genuinely wonderful. Seriously, what did Disney ever do to hurt them and their children?Β
Beauty and the Beast does NOT have ANY bad intentions whatsoever. Whenever I watch the Beast losing his temper at Belle, it actually makes me think of my Dad when he blow off in front of me, and he is a good, hardworking man who learns from his mistakes. That's one of the impacts that beautiful movie has on me, and it's a damn good impact.

Yeah. I am NOT a fan of mushy romances (I used to be, but trust me NOT anymoreΒ Β ), unlike my mom who has almost every Nicholas Sparks book and loves watching chick flicks.Β Β Right now, I'm really fond of that kind of romance, especially if they're a strange pairing, such as with a young woman and a literal beast.Β Β
