it looks odd but i wanted to try to leave the policemen blank in order their presence become unimportant to John. though maybe it's better to fill them black.. cant decide. seems fail anyway

I think filling them black would be more striking or a grey? Interesting how the police are in the foreground while the main focus is near the back. I (not being any kind of artist, so please disregard) would have imagined the opposite. The positioning of their bodies is interesting as well. John's posture shows concern so unless one was more aware of the situation, would never know that they were kissing and it was John's way of taking it public. Very good though.

Au contraire, it doesn't look odd. It looks amazing! I'm doing this art project right now with silhouettes and I came back to this picture to see how you did it. Beautifully, that is. Out of curiosity, did you look at Kara Walker at all when you were doing this? She does silhouettes. The postures of your police are slightly exaggerated, a bit like hers are at times. Although the similarity I'm seeing could just be because they're both silhouettes... maybe that's something that arises naturally from the style. Because it's just an outline, the contours are exaggerated in order to clearly portray the figure.
Anyway, this image is damn cool. I love the way you drew the room as well. And Sherlock and John, of course.

This may be my favourite fanart for this awesome fanfiction, otherwise it's one of the best moments, so it just has to be good. I'm not making any sense, sorry for that.
What I wanted to say is that I love this drawing, the way in which Sherlock and John are in the foreground while they are in the background. Gosh- I should stop by now, my English is totally useless today.

I really admire the fact that you decided to leave the policemen blank, such a smart move. They are unimportant to John, but needed for the viewer to get a sense of the chaos. I also adore Sherlock's twisted body, and the way John is holding him. Such clear, strong emotions radiate from this drawing, without us seeing any faces! And of course, your technique and skill in drawing is a no-brainer, you already know you're super good at that

Loving this picture, and the composition choices. 
I love, love, love, love, love how you have the cops and criminal in white. I wouldn't fill them in with black, since white (imo) gets across how John sees their presence as vague, insubstantial, and unimportant better. Black is generally seen as threatening, or full of negative emotion, and that would add visual weight to their presence in the picture.
