i mean i guess technically every show not actually on broadway can be considered off broadway lol but in nyc there are theaters that are considered "official" off broadway if that makes sense? like theyre still theaters in nyc just not in the theater district

Well, broadway is theatres with >500 seats, off broadway is 100-499 seats and off off broadway is... well you get the point. less than 100.
