This piece of artwork is elegantly detailed and stunningly beautiful. The fog effects give it an alluring and somewhat peaceful effect, but also a tint of mystery. The shadowing and shading effects are beautifully done, and altogether it's simply marvellous. The Impact I am getting as a viewer is a great emotional and mystery vibe of what may soon happen when he walks into those gates. The originality isn't that incredible I must say though. Seems like quite a popular scene you'd see from a fantasy game/movie/book. The vision it displays is simply stunning though, and I love the delicate details of the trees. Wonderful work.
