Designs for a comic I was commissioned to do... just putting it out there for a little feedback on the overall design. I probably won't be coloring the final product, so don't nitpick the color scheme too much if you don't agree with it.Related content

The designs look good to me, especially considering the Kankers and their future job positions. Double D looks pretty good in his look, and I can honestly day that, compared to what many others draw, I'd prefer brown over blonde any day. The facial fuzz on both Edd and Eddy do look cool, though, and I've no beef with Eddy's color; it kind of fits him.
Overall, it looks very good; thanks for sharing.

I like everyone's design, ecept fpr Edd. I dunno. I think he would look more like a prep than anything. And I think his hair should be a darker shade of brown too.

I love the Kankers, I love Eddy, but...Edd...I think he would look better without facial hair...(Edd is so hard to age, though. So, good luck xD)

I'm loving Eddy, May and Marie to the tips of my toes, but I always imagined Edd would remain baby-faced forever. Y'know, one of those guys who while their friends are shaving daily can only grow a couple of bits of bumfluff. Eddy's sideburns are spot on though. XP
I love Lee's torso too, but I miss her huuuuuuge long legs!

I have a hard time making Edd look older without him just looking like a drug abuser in his older years. He's hard to age, and if I kept him baby-faced he wouldn't look any different.. it's a dilemma! Or are you referring specifically to the goatee? I could cut that out no problem. It's just about the only thing that verifies that he IS any older. If you have any other ideas, please throw them out.

Hrmm... I see your point about Edd. I just did a quick sketch and he looked okay with subtle 'tired' lines under his eyes, as a nod to his habit of overworking himself (like in 'Scrambled Ed'.) Orrr maybe colour it darker around his eyes, like the opposite of Eddy's lighter areas? ORR, and I'm just thinking out loud here, maybe it's also his very large wide eyes that add to it? Maybe if he was more squinty like Eddy he might look a bit less... kiddy?
I liked MutatingRaven's idea of making his face thinner! In one of her drawings ([link] ) Edd is described as looking like an adolescent, which is quite fair.

Those are all really good ideas. O_O I don't know why I didn't think of adding dark circles under his eyes. I wear makeup to make myself look that way and it definitely adds a completely different feel to my appearance. I did stick with the lines under his eyes, at least... and his eyes are hard. I have personal issues with his forehead showing, and if I made them smaller I'd have to sacrifice some part of his face, right? I just haven't accomplished that yet. I think I'll sit down and do some traditional sketches and make it work, damnit. I can always go back and edit that first page if I need to.

Yeah the goatee was the only thing I could ever come up with to age him either. You could try dropping his nose a bit and giving him a thinner face. Maybe its the chubby cherub cheeks that keep him looking like a little boy all the time.

I have the same problem with Edd. Whenever I try to age him, I am unsucessful...I would be shocked if someone could make Edd look JUST right. xD

LOl. Eddy has Rolf's hair. i always imagined his hair a bit more spikey since he always has those 3 hairs sticking up. But he looks sexy. lol. The kankers look amazing. just perfect. But DD looks funky with the hair on his chin. idk, i guess since he's all about cleaness and tidy-ness, facial hair might seem dirty to him. At least thats my opinion. ^^

Yeah, I used to draw it incredibly spiky until I realized how difficult it was... I sort of jacked the designs for Edd and Eddy from some of MutatingRaven's more recent idea's... it just sort of grew on me. So noted, though!
And the hair on Edd's chin was also one of her idea's... but I do see your point. I may or may not keep it in the final cut, but thanks for your opinion!

I really like this future for the Kankers and the design of their uniforms (love EEnE's floppy hats!). And I'm already well adjusted to the future Edd and Eddy designs, but I just wanna point out that Edd reminded me of Max Goof here. XD

Haha thanks. I'm completely satisfied with the Kankers... they just needed that little tweak to their style and a rack to show they were older.
