Short, thin and constantly has a disapproving or grumpy look on his face. Has a mop of ginger hair and red-y orange eyes to go with it. Riko also only has six freckles on his face, but on his arms back and legs hes covered head to toe in freckles (and he hates it). Lastly has two yellow bulb like things on either side of his head that occasionally light up or spark up.

► Personality:
Kind of a grumpy quiet kid whose awkward about almost any new person. Riko is smart and loves to tinker with things in his spare time, normally prefers to be alone, or at least he use to. He is shy and has a hard time talking/trusting to new people and can be some what rude when first meeting someone. Getting to know him though, Riko is a kid with big dreams and lots to say, he just takes time to get close to or understand.

► History:

Riko was born in a tank, born for the sake of research, and his fully aware of that now, but not at the time. The scientists wanted to study the biology of his species and would conduct experiments where they would put him under and dissect him, while keeping him alive for further testing. This probably would have went on till’ the little fishes body couldn’t handle it any more, but one night after lock down a scientist had come back, sneaking in and releasing all the pokemon they could. Before letting all the pokemon that they had freed leave, they announced they were also a pokemon like them, a poke-human. They handed out a number of Dittetch and told all of the pokemon what happens when you use it and what would happen from here on out.

The little Chinchou was one of the pokemon who received the tiny device, and he was very interested by it. Not all the other pokemon accepted the device, thinking it was more testing, but thats why Riko accepted it, being a lab pokemon your not allowed to say no to a test after all. After all of that, Riko began his hunt for a safe place to live. He got himself a map and decided on a checkpoint for himself, that being Lumiouse. He had heard so much about this huge city it didn’t make sense not to go there.

While traveling, Riko avoiding contact with normal humans, or anyone that looked like a normal human. The only time he would speak to other people was when he needed food or water, most being very kind and giving him what he needed without question. It was about a 2 day trip for a small kid with no pokemon, and when he finally reached the city he was filthy and tired. He tried the same thing as last time, relying on peoples kindness and willingness to share their food and water, but it was different in the big city. People weren’t as willing to share, to them he was just another street rat. Almost 24 hours without food or water, Riko passed out in an alleyway, his Dittetch turning off due to his exhaustion.

Luckily for him though, an older man limping by had spotted him before it was too late and picked him up. When Riko woke back up, he found himself in a bath tub with a plate of food on the side. Without hesitation, Riko turned on his dittetch and began eating, only seconds into his meal the old man came limping in. He explained that his name was Shmitty and he found Riko and brought him to Laverre, a smaller town outside Lumiouse. In return, Riko explained his own situation and after a while of talking the two made an agreement that Riko could work for him in his shop in exchange for a place to live. Although Riko didn’t necessarily trust the old man yet, he felt a lot safer already.

Riko is still currently living with Shmitty and working as a mechanic in his shop.

► Relationships:

→ Shmitty(Parental figure?)
Shmitty took Riko in once he got to Laverre, ever since then Riko sees Shmitty more as an uncle or some kind of parent rather than just a friend or something. Hes a little… hard to handle sometimes but how relaxed and positive Shmitty is good for Riko.

→ Keyah(Best Friend)
Keyha was probably the first real friend Riko had made, aside from Shmitty. It took their relationship awhile to kick off because of Rikos hesitence but now the two of them do almost inseparable. Riko loves Keyah a lot. in a. friend way. And does everything in his power to keep her safe and out of trouble.

→ Kain(This one.)
Riko meet Kain threw Keyha, and honestly doesn’t know if he should be scared of the big stupid dragon or not. For the most part, he just avoids him the best he can.

→ Salina(The dragons pet)
Salina is an… odd one. Riko isn’t sure if he likes her or not, but he doesn’t necessarily hate her or anything. Keyha seems to like her a lot but then again Keyha likes almost everyone.

→ Antik(Classmate/Friend..?)
Again, Riko has no idea what to think of Antik. The kid seems to constantly screw everything up and get everyone in shit. At school the spider kid hangs around him Keyha and Salina a lot, gets a little annoying after awhile.

► Extras:
→ When a human asks about the bulbs on his head, Riko normally says they're just hair clips or some kind of invention hes working on.
→ Really, they are attached to his head and spark/shock people when touched. They light up depending on his mood/the light in the room.
→ ALSO they’re kind of attached to his brain in a way, like his normal antenna on pokemon form. If he for example bumps his head right on the bulbs, his vision will blur on that side of his head that got hit (its worse depending on how hard their hit, and can also make him temporarily blind/give headaches)
→ Scared of the dark-- mostly b/c hes never been in it
→ Really smart with science and math
→ Loves tinkering with things/taking them apart and putting them back together
→ Has a hard time talking to girls hes just meet.
