Description these are the concept sketches for Jimmy. probably the most fun of all the characters to draw, because he's the 'comic relief'. his face is way fun to draw expressions for. drawing dreds is lots of fun, but as you can see, i crapped out on some of the details, only because these concepts are mostly for facial expression.

Jimmy is the Guitar player.

I think I just might have a weakness for any character with Bob Marley-esque dredlocks. Of course, it defenitely helps that his entire design is just so awesome, and that his expressions are brilliant. Guitar player doesn't hurt either.

I think I'm trying to say that this is one of the coolest characters I've ever seen

Yesterday! lol.. I had no tape. So, I tried to stick it to the tape on your mummy... Hopefully it didn't fall down! It's a quick note saying "Hi". ....That I ripped out of a piece of paper my BF had... I noticed the mummy just a few days before that, so yeah... My friend Hugh always sits at the desk next to yours. I havn't even seen you around this semester.

So, look out for my note! Unless it's fallen and.. yeah.

i'll definitely look for your note. and i'm only at school part time this year, so there are days i'm not even at school... so maybe that's why you never see me?

OH man, any guy with the nickname of "the highwayman" is instantly in my fangirl book. I love this guy. I agree, along with Tasha, he seems like the most expressive character...which sounds like exactly what you want. I love the dreads and goatee, but of course....I've been a fan of that look for sometime. He's got great eyebrows! His features really work well with his expressions, and I so love that he can both stoic and silly. What a guy!

Seriously, I love all of this work Tara...., it's beautiful and original. I'm going to keep an eye out for sure to see what you do next with these awesome characters! YEAH!

mel, you just totally made my day. *grin* honestly, it's so nice getting an objective opinion... i literally cannot WAIT to get this show on the road. unfortunately i have other classwork to do, too, so it'll take a little longer than i'd like.

thanks. expressions are something i've really been trying to work on lately. it's the one thing that i think can make or break an image.

He's my favourite of the three, man. He looks like he's got a broad range of expressions like he could be serious aside from humorous... my favourite face is up in the top right. XD Looks so silly.

yeah, Jimmy's a pretty main character in the story. he and Tasha are the meat and potatoes, if you will. they've got the broadest range of character and emotion. Jimmy's like a puppy-dog, but he's got his serious moments, too.
