Nope. Most photographers believe these old thoriated lenses aren't dangerous, but then again most photographers aren't exactly experts in radiation. After my hands inexplicably developed a burning sensation for up to a a day the last two times I used it, I decided to put it out on the porch until I either find another explanation or someone with a geiger counter who knows how to use it. No repeat of the burning hands since, though. Best damn 50mm lens I've owned, though. Well, 55mm actually.
