I really like way this painting is structured. It feels really cinematic, the perspective and color distribution work together to harmonize the composition in regards to the points of interest. I think this is a really successful painting.

The Way of Kings might be a bit too heavy before knowing the author, so I'd also recommend starting with Final Empire
Note that Mistborn's world's story will continue after the first trilogy
