Cats are quite the interesting creatures - the facial expression shows her as so intent on the bird that nothing else exists to her -- not even the bell around her neck that could potentially ruin everything

little bugger knows how to walk in total silence, that bell might as well not exist, she and the others only use there bells to be annoying, like shake them loudly to wake me up!
