Her youth is very bold here for me. Her welled up eyes, filled with sadness that is possibly due to being seperated, or betrayed have caused a tonal shift in her world. She is girl that still has a fire that burns deep in her, a fire that can't be put out by situations that are beyond her control. Though that is not from a lack of trying by hostile outside forces. The gray to me represents that things aren't as simple as they seem, they are complicated, they are rough, and sometimes the choices you have to make hurt, and hurt those you love. I feel for this girl, and wish I could make the choices for her, so that if they turn out to be bad choices, that she can hate me rather than herself.
